Mechanical Engineer

Summary of essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Computer Numerically Controlled Machine Programmer for Metals and Plastics
  • Perform concept and design reviews with manufacturing and leadership
  • Create 3D models, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM's) specific to each project
  • Drawings which include dimensioning, fastening methods, fabrication and annotation detailing
  • Use CAM software to produce production programs for a variety of machines
  • CNC Turret Punch Press
  • CNC Plasma Table
  • CNC Mill, Router, & Lathe
  • Maintain detailed machine setup documentation for operators
  • Design fixtures and Jigs to aid and improve manufacturing processes
  • Interface with in house manufacturing, fabricators, assemblers and supervisors
  • Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills (i.e. Verbal, MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC equipment
  • Experience with CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
  • Experience with CAM software (Mastercam / Sigma Nest preferred)
